Acquerello rice is the aged Carnaroli rice, harvested in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, and processed to make the rice best for making outstanding ‘Risotto’.
When cooked the grains become bigger, firmer, fully consistent, tastier but not sticky.
Cooking Instructions for plain rice:
One cup of rice will yield: 2 cups of cooked rice.

- In a sauce pan add plenty of water, bring to a rolling boil, then add ½ tsp salt and a cup of rice.
- Stir lightly, lower the heat to medium, then simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, Drain the rice. Add olive oil, saute’ed vegetables or any other condiments of your choice.
- Fluff with fork and serve.
One cup of rice will yield: 2 cups of cooked rice.
