This Ethiopian herb is known as 'Bitter Clarifying Herb' or  'Lemon bush herb', grows wild around Africa. It has lightly minty flavor, with strong lemony note.

Used as a cooking herb in Ethiopia and Eritrea, mainly in Ethiopian spiced butter. Also used to enhance the flavor of sauces & stews, sea food dishes & meat rub.

Koseret is valued for its medicinal properties, and is drunk like an herbal tea.
